🌍 Admission Open for Academic Year 2026–2027

The Centre for Foreign Languages, Pondicherry University is inviting applications for new admission to the Certificate Courses in Foreign Languages for the Academic Year 2026–2027.

Learning a foreign language provides an opportunity to explore the musicality and rhythm of a different linguistic system and gain deeper insight into the culture and values associated with the language. The Centre for Foreign Languages is committed to fostering global connectivity, intercultural understanding and inclusive education through the study of world languages.

🎓 Eligibility

Educational Qualification: Matriculation (10th Standard) or equivalent.

📋 Selection & Admission

Admissions will be based on the marks secured in the qualifying degree.
Preference will be given to students who are already studying in Pondicherry University.
Admission will be granted subject to fulfilment of the prescribed eligibility criteria and availability of seats.
After online admission, selected students are required to report with their original certificates, fee receipts and printed hard copy of the application.

💳 Fee Structure

Fees are to be paid at the time of admission.

* Library Fee: The library fee of ₹1,000/- is optional for candidates in the Others category who desire to use the University Library for reference purposes. A separate Library Card shall be issued in such cases.
